Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
No. The quote form asks just six things: gender, date of birth, how you'd describe your health, tobacco use, coverage amount and term length. Those answers alone are enough for carriers to return rates. Your name, address, and detailed health information only come into play if you choose to apply.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
They are the rates carriers quote for the health level you selected. After underwriting, the carrier may confirm the class, move you to a better class, or adjust it. Nothing shown on this site is an offer of coverage or a guarantee of a price.
What happens when I click Apply?
You enter your name and the application opens prefilled with your answers, then continues on the carriers' secure platform. You can save your place and come back; you sign electronically. Susman Insurance Agency, a licensed California agency (License 0B75129), handles your application.
Will I need a medical exam?
That depends on the carrier, the amount you choose, and your health. Carriers now often offer rapid decisions without an exam for eligible applicants; each quote shows whether an exam is required, possible, or not needed for that particular product.
Is a longer term better?
A term length should match your financial obligations: your mortgage, children at home, business debt. Longer terms cost more each month but lock in your rate for more years. The quote tool lets you compare 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 years at once.
Does this site sell my information?
No. The quote tool doesn't ask for contact details, we don't sell or share visitor information, and our measurement is cookieless. See our privacy page for exactly what is collected and who collects it.
